Nate suddenly jerked awake and sat up at the feeling of Dogmeat’s cold wet nose forcefully nudging his arm. An anguished cry filled the silent room. He rubbed his eyes and shuffled around trying to find the switch to his lantern.
The light buzzed on and dimly lit up the humid garage. He flicked his eyes quickly around the room, expecting to find a raider or an animal - but there was nothing. He gave Dogmeat a quick pat on the head and glanced over at Preston, who was now violently thrashing around on the floor, his head soaked with sweat.
Nate comforts Preston after he suffers night terrors due to the events of the Quincy massacre.
