“His blood-” Chris’ thought was cut short by another. This felt eerily familiar, and he couldn't shake that phantom sense of recognition that hit him the first time he laid eyes on the man. It was something about his face, the look in his eyes, the way he moved and held himself. It rang too close to someone else Chris knew. Someone else who had the antibodies, and who suffered with worsened vision problems in the aftermath of virus exposure.
“Sherry, I need you to be honest with me.” He measured his words with the utmost care so as not to pressure her too much. He understood the precarious position she was currently in with her present job, and was prepared that, much like Leon, she may be unable to speak about certain aspects of her assignment. Her attention fixed on Chris with a nervous expectancy. “Is Jake Muller related in any way to Albert Wesker?”
