Alright. I am continuing this story.
If you just want random shenanigans and fluff of my take on Avatar!Zuko and don’t want to read about the deaths of a whole bunch of children that lead up to how Zuko got to be the Avatar, go straight to chapter 5. So far there’s Pakku cursing his life; Zuko and Yue fluff; and Lu Ten being the bestest big brother ever to his cousin. There’s no order to the story, I’m just writing scenes as my muse thinks them up or people ask for them in the comments. -

Summary
This is based off a fan theory that Ty Lee is a defendant of airbenders, so that being said I’ve conjured up a fanfiction where SHE’S the avatar and Aangs an airbender. He was never seen as the avatar but he was still lost in the iceberg. He is a master airbender, and Ty Lee has the same backstory, except she has known she was the avatar for a while and just hid it from everyone she knew including her parents.

Kyoshi, a therapist at Ember Institute, recieves a rather unique patient. An air nomad kid a few years post-genocides, admitted due to a seemingly random suicide attempt. Now it's her job, along with Yangchen and some others, to get this kid who's six feet deep in denial to actually face his trauma.
Basically a fic where Aang gets sent to a mental hospital and is forced to recieve therapy. Featuring Kyoshi and Yangchen as therapists, Kuruk as a nosy custodian, Roku as the manager of the place, Azula as Aang's roomate, and the gaang trying their best.

Jasmine's life turned upside down when she and her siblings found a strange boy frozen in an iceberg. He later revealed himself as Avatar Aang and as if that wasn't enough, Prince Zuko attacked her little water tribe village in search for the boy.
While trying to keep the Avatar and her village safe from the prince, Jasmine exposed her biggest secret: firebending. Zuko immediately took her and the Avatar as prisoners. On the way to the Fire Nation, Aang managed to escape, leaving Jasmine behind.
But who knows, maybe spending more time with the prince will lead to something more than just being enemies.

What could have motivated one of the Four Nations to suddenly, and without apparent provocation, aspire to world domination and universal monarchy? This paper will not attempt to essay a conclusive answer. By tomorrow afternoon there would be hundreds of people from all four nations pouring into the Southern Air Temple to celebrate the festivities of Aang’s 27th birthday celebration. Zuko carved a day out of his schedule to arrive early- he wanted to surprise Aang with a gift. He wrote to him asking if they could spend one day together before the festival- just the two of them. There was an unexpected lurch in Zuko's stomach as he unfurled his letter that read “Come as many days early as you can make time for” in Aang’s flowy script.
