Theseus Sol Craft, the third prince of the Antarctic Empire. He was known to be quiet and serene. A kind soul, with a terrible fate. A tragedy truly, or that was what the village people thought. That was what the servants whispered among themselves in the corridors of the palace. Why? Why may they think that the blonde prince was a tragedy? Someone to be pitied, and treated like glass?
Simple.Theseus was the youngest prince of the most powerful Empire known.
And he was Blind.
At least… Blind in the eyes, he had his own ways of seeing.

But somehow, Tommy has wings and he definitely isn’t in the royal family.
He doesn’t live in a castle, he lives in a cardboard box in an alley. He doesn’t have a crown or any fancy golden jewelry, he only owns one rusted silver ring that he found on the side of the road.
Tommy doesn’t have any money to his name, any clothes other than what he already wears, or anything of any real value.
Yet he still has wings, bright gold and shiny and firmly attached to his back, like they’re meant to be there, like they aren’t a contradiction to everything everyone knows about avians and about the royal family.

Or, Tommy lives in a kingdom where the only avians are the royal family. This wouldn’t be an issue if Tommy didn’t also and have wings, and also wasn’t in the royal family.
After trying to hide his wings for years, the royal family finally finds out and tries to give Tommy the home he never had, even if he originally thought they wanted to execute him.Series

“Essempi and the Antarctic Empire have declared war on eachother and us.”
A beat of silence, before the king speaks up again, voice not revealing any bit of his intents. “Tough times stand before us, followed by bloodshed and betrayals.”
Schlatt looks at him again, his eyes seemingly boring into his soul, while Tommy is still processing what exactly this means. “We need you, Theseus. We need our royal mage back. At 100%.”
Or: a mage Tommy au, where he has to deal with the aftermath of a traumatic tragedy, while fighting a war at hand and somehow pleasing the country. What could go wrong?

Being the younger child, he had always known he wasn’t anywhere near as important as the crown prince, and that had, to some extent, been something he was grateful for, as much as it broke his heart to see the way they worked Technoblade to the bone. At least, when all was said and done, he wasn’t the one bearing the weight of their legacy on his shoulders, he wasn’t the one who would have to rule one day. There were advantages to being the youngest.
But here, apparently, was the f*cking massive downside. Being traded away like a pawn, given as a ‘guarantee’ in a peace treaty, as though he didn’t even matter. Tommy supposed that, deep down, he had always known he didn’t.
____________________Prince Tommy is traded away to King Philza as part of a peace treaty. He is certain he will be treated as a prisoner - a servant at best, a punching bag at worst. He just hopes Technoblade will find a way to forget all about him, the last thing he wants is for his older brother to feel guilty for being unable to keep him safe.
Philza just wants to protect a child from parents so uncaring that they would trade him away.Or, a tasty blend of foster and royalty au tropes XD

“Come on, girl,” Tommy muttered, giving Clementine a gentle nudge with his heels. She took off with ease, hooves thundering against the dirt as they raced toward the gates. The wind bit at his face, his hair whipping around as they sped down the familiar path toward the forest beyond the castle. He didn’t look back. He wouldn’t.
The gates of the castle were quiet, no guards in sight. Everyone was probably busy with something else, and Tommy wasn’t going to waste this opportunity. He kicked Clementine into a faster pace, his heart beating in time with the gallop. The forest loomed in the distance, dark and welcoming.

A Brave/Merida AU! where instead of trying to marry off a princess we are trying to make a prince act more like a King! SBI aren't neglectful, just trying to help in the wrong ways.
Wilbur Soot is in this fic, but I am using him as the character from the DSMP not the person.
