Summary
Gerald quickly puts a hand on Shadow's shoulder, stopping him in his tracks. ”No…no. You two must follow me,” he starts to briskly walk out of the testing wing, looking back with urgency after a few steps, “Quickly!” At that, Shadow takes Maria's hand, following the professor’s pace. Once they leave the safety of the testing wing, Shadow’s ear twitches, picking up a faint sound. A repetitive banging, much deeper into the arc. It only takes a moment to identify.
Gunshots.
In an alternate timeline where Gerald is alerted of upcoming GUN raid months in advance. Long enough to make a contingency plan. Now G.U.N. isn't going to get their hands on either of his wards, they won't get their weapon, or lay a hand on dear Maria. He just hopes they forgive him one day, even if he doesn't live to see it.
Aka Shadow and (Alive!)Maria get woken up from stasis during SA2 and end up with the wrong crowd.

Summary
After finally finding what they were looking for, Sonic and the others try to escape the huge cave they were navigating in for hours but something happened. The cave abruptly collapsed onto them but luckily Team Sonic and Amy escape but unfortunately someone got crushed in the pile of rocks.
Shadow woke up in a familiar yet unfamiliar world where he couldn't figure out how they all got there and it's Team Dark's mission to get back without getting attached to their friend's alternate doppelgangers.

Summary
With mixed feelings, Shadow the Hedgehog and Maria Robotnik arrive to a new city for the work in new Robotnik laboratory. During the opening celebration, the over twenty year old hedgehog meets someone who sparked his quiet interest in other people. Could it be that he has found a kindred spirit in this person, or his curse?
The story is written from Shadow's perspective, set in a 90's aesthetic. It is my answer to "what could have been" if massacre on ARK didn't happen.

Opowiadanie jest napisane z perspektywy Shadowa, dzieje się w estetyce lat 90-tych. Jest moją odpowiedzią “co mogłoby być” gdyby masakra na ARC’e się nie wydarzyła.
