Set after What Lies Ahead/A New Beginning, Shockwave reveals what he believes to be parts of his past to Megatron, alongside his earlier days as a Decepticon soldier and how his feelings grew for the Decepticon warlord. This series takes part in the past as well as the current post-war setting. While this part of the series does focus on Shockwave's side of the story, it also shows the struggle Megatron undergoes with withdrawals from high-grade and how he's learning to cope and grow as a new mech.

The Constructicons performed awesomely in the 1986 Transformers movie, and particularly Scavenger who took out Prowl with a single shot. But before they left for the Autobot shuttle, not all the Constructicons were confident about surviving the task ahead .....
