Summary
In desperate need of some place out where the Prophet won't harass him, Harry asks Ginny for a recommendation. He's not expecting the cafe she recommends to be owned by none other than Draco Malfoy.
Ever since he left the Wizarding World behind, Draco has had to work in the Muggle world, not having the safety blanket of his family fortune to support him now after the war. He ends up the owner of a "haunted" cafe, when the "ghost" grows so worrisome that the previous owner and his fellow employees fled, not wanting to be on the receiving end of its violence. The only thing is, neither Draco nor Harry have actually seen the ghost, despite seeing the evidence of there being one.
Harry thinks there's more to the mystery than that. And, unfortunately for Draco's sanity, Harry loves mysteries.

With a flick of his wand Dumbledore, who had a curious look in his eyes as he regarded the now calm, relaxed, and even playful children in front of him, caused the book to start reading on its own.OR: Reading the books, but I add my own twist here and there.

Summary
What I wanted to write was a quick one-shot that explored the idea of Harry being the biological son of Voldemort, only Voldemort doesn't know he has a son and is also as evil as ever. Meanwhile, Harry is just a charismatic kid with a snake and ridiculously powerful magic.
It turned into a series rewrite.
Here's book three.
Features: pretty much everyone having a horrible year. Really, I'm trying to think of someone who has a good year and I can't think of ONE.
Also features: Harry Potter discovering teenage rebellion (and Merlin capitalizing on that fact); Remus Lupin being the best damn DADA Professor Hogwarts has ever seen; Ron Weasley living in the state we call denial and making it everyone else's problem; Hermione Granger planning a murder; Sirius Black, who just wanted to kill ONE RAT, how has it spiraled this badly; a catastrophic miscommunication; Tom Riddle trying to keep his idiot relative alive (it should not be as hard as it is but here we are); and a Theodore Nott that's- well. You'll see.

He looks over at Sirius, then pulls his hand away from Sirius’s grasp. Sirius watches it go with a heartbroken expression on his face.
Remus sighs, then gives Sirius his hand back, resolutely ignoring Severus’s eye roll. A man can only be so strong.

Unfortunately, that self comes with war flashbacks, a front row seat to how badly everything went the first time, and the deeply unpleasant realisation that his entire family is basically walking into a slaughterhouse if he doesn’t intervene.
