I suck at summaries and it's nowhere near as dark as it sound. In fact, the only thing dark about it is Thorin's mood when most of his company end up kidnapped by Hobbits. And Gandalf is banished as well, so there is that.EDIT: This story is undergoing reconstruction, or rather will be fleshed out in the future. Plotbunnies as well as several Hobbits, Dwarrow and Dwobbits bemanded more space so I will add chapters in the future.

Summary
Filomena Arabella-May Goodbody-Baggins is a robust woman. Known for being a feisty and untamable hobbit of the Shire, not even a company of 13 dwarves are able to control her: not even a hard-headed king. After an ill-received proposal, a few stolen heirlooms, and a mutual exchange of harsh words, Filomena finds herself in the company of an unwilling dwarven king, Thorin Oakenshield. On a quest for adventure and reclamation, Filomena and her cousin, Bilbo, must break free of the silken safety blanket of the Shire and survive in the big world.
Of course, it's hard to make it big when a king doesn't like you.
Will Filomena and Bilbo make it to the end of the quest? Or will a stubborn-headed king do everything in his power to break the little woman? Will Thorin be able to stay true to his own beliefs and morals? Or will an intoxicatingly fierce hobbit break down his walls?

NOTE: This work dips heavily into BOTH the films and book and "rewrites" some of the outcomes and character impacts. If you haven't read the book, some scenes will be very different from the film, and the timeline follows the book more closely

Where a hobbit is stolen away from her green hills and although her light wont be so easily taken, she's not quite sure how to get it back. She just hopes that all this pain will be worth it for something good in the end. Even if it's only to see her green hills once more before she leaves this world. However she never counted on meeting a bear amongst dwarves.

Hobbits are not what the others races believe. Crafted by the Valar and blessed with inherited magics called knacks, Hobbits have been ensuring the peace between the Free Peoples for a long time. No one else knows and Hobbits are content to keep it that way. However, years ago Shire life was disrupted by the marriage of Gerontius Took to Adamanta Chubb, originally known as the dragon Arradeth. Years later Bilbo Baggins is paying the price of being an odd hobbit, having inherited both Took and Baggins knacks along with his grandmother’s blood, and is the only one of her line to also have a dragon form. Now Gandalf the Grey is once again in need of a hobbit for an adventure and Bilbo must decide. Should he accompany the wizard and his group, face a dragon, and risk revealing Shire and family secrets? Or does he abandon his people’s sacred purpose and allow a stubborn king to send part of Middle Earth into war? Not to mention that if Bilbo does go he risks not only his life, but losing his dragon Heart to a band of suicidal dwarves. Either way, the choice of Bilbo Baggins may rule the fate of all Middle Earth.

Summary
Zahra, daughter of Thráin, son of Thrór, sister of Thorin Oakenshield, didn't live the life that she thought she always would. She didn't grow up in vase mountain halls of Erebor, her father, grand-father and brother. Instead, she fled for her life, while the sounds of her people getting slaughtered reached her ears.
Zahra, having been separated from Thorin and their father, fled Erebor, traveling half a world away, until she found herself on the edge of the Shire, her and Thorin's mother's homeland. She met a distant cousin of her and her brother, Belladonna Took, a lovely hobbit with a kind face and no love for adventure, despite her Tookish nature.
She took Zahra in, offering her a home, none had offered such before, with her and her husband. Zahra, having taken the name Hanna Baggins, stayed with Belladonna and her husband, Bungo, helping them raise and care for their son, Bilbo Baggines when the time arrose.
Zahra lived peaceful life in the Shire with Belladonna and Bilbo, but what happens when some familiar and not-so-familiar faces show up on the foot of her and Bilbo's home? What happens when the Son of Thráin comes knocking on? Read to follow Zahra's journey home.
