To Mafuyu, love is a foreign emotion. It was one of those emotions she had not acknowledged, nor has she acknowledged anything diverging from the topic of love. The only thing she's felt is a familial love that has slipped away from her. She assumed she wasn't able to feel romantic attraction to someone, and wouldn't be able to even into the near future.
Yet, after an unknown feeling of bitter envy flares up when Kanade begins to get more 'affectionate' with someone, it trickles into her sleeping mind.
