Dusekkar nodded and straightened the best he could before taking a peek around the corner of the closet to make sure the killer or even a minion wasn’t coming their way.
The next time he looked down Taph’s leg and waist were wrapped up in bandages, the support using the kit to its fullest.
“Ready to endure the rest? Soon enough we’ll be blessed.” Dusekkar held a hand out to Taph, the other holding his magic staff.
Taph thankfully took the hand outstretched to them, silently agreeing to continue their survival.

Taph sighed softly, still crouched. He looked at the branches of his faux Christmas tree, worn from use. He should probably invest in some more tinsel to brighten the sad tree up, maybe a new gold star to put at the top-

Taph whipped around so rapidly that he probably pulled something in his neck. What was that?
It's a foggy Christmas Eve. Families are giving presents. Little boys and girls across the world are having the best night of their lives, waiting for Santa to slide down the chimney at any moment.
Taph is waiting too, hiding in his boarded-up house as he waits for a jolly visitor to make their way into the fireplace. Unfortunately, the one who arrives isn't very merry.
When he wakes up in a dusty cabin in the woods, he finds many faces staring him down. Some new, some old. Whether he likes it or not, he's going to find himself getting closer to every one of them over the coming weeks.

In the heaviness of this terrible land of murder and limbo- 007n7 finds himself as a rock on top of the sand.
This does not deter him though. He has been studying and keeping his eyes in the corners of the darkness where the shadows linger- away from the killers that demand the awareness of the victims they chase. 007n7 just may have found a way to try and get the other victims out of this realm once and for all. Suddenly, a hand grasped at his cloak, bringing him up with a harsh grasp. It forced him to stumbble to his feet- who was it he didn't hear footsteps.. His vision was starting to clear, he hates how dizzy the explosions make him. Not enough to see whi had grabbed him though, but he was running now, mind a blurred adrenaline rushed mess. Soon enough him and the stranger turned a corner, hiding behind a white brick wall. Pants trying to regain their stamina was all that sounded, taphs vision slowly easing back in.
