Summary
Ranboo, Philza, and Technoblade have been captured by hybrid hunters who are trying to sell them into slave rings. It's not their first time in a situation like this, but now they have the most to loose: each other.

"He pulled his long legs towards himself, trying to make himself smaller and less noticable. Phil was doing the exact opposite, trying to stretch his bound wings as far as they could go, his feathers rising to make him seem larger. Techno was also bristling, slowly swinging his tusks from side to side, making small huffs as the fur along his neck rose.
"Now, now, little beasts," the man cooed, "stop trying to intimidate... How will I find good buyers if you still have that spark of rebellion in you?""

Summary
The only type of dragon eggs that could survive the cold were the children of mountain dragons and Techno was pretty sure there weren't any dragons of this kind in his territory.
It could be dead already. He thought.
Maybe it’s too late and he can’t save it.
But Technoblade could hear it, the beating heart. It was beating so fast and so loud, trying his best to not stop. Dragons' eggs didn’t last so long in the wild, they needed a warm place and someone to watch over them. They were fragile and if not watched closely, they would die. He had to make something and quickly.

Summary
Dream is not a man who takes things lightly. When the Sleepy Boi Coven took a part of his land, he knew one day he’d take it back, no matter the cost. Leaving a fledgling for dead in L’manburg was supposed to be a statement, a warning for what was to come when he was stronger- more powerful. A worthy opponent. It was not supposed to be an act of war.

Summary
As he stands in the foyer of his apartment, with a three year old child resting in his arms, staring at the ground, he wonders what the hell did he just do?
A part of Techno, when he impulsively started the adoption process late one night, didn’t even think he was going to pass. There was a lot he would need to do, a lot of qualifications people would need to check, and surely something in there wouldn’t be good, right? Surely whatever inside him persuaded him to complete the online application and send it in would be squashed when he didn’t pass, right?
Wrong. Well- at least the second part is wrong, because he passed. With flying colors. Apparently his apartment just needed to be child-proofed, with outlet covers and whatnot; and despite being a Minecraft Youtuber, his financial situation is steady; and he’s never even gotten a speeding ticket, so his legal records are all spotless.
And now he has a kid.
… Someone at the California Adoption Agency is going to get fired for this.
Or: Techno adopts an orphan because of a joke tweet, and it ends up being the best decision of his life

Dream's first memories came from The Pit, and how it taught him to take any hit the world threw at him. The second ones came from Puffy, and her fleeting way of caring. The third ones came from Philza, and his immortal calloused form of protecting. The fourth ones came from BadBoyHalo, together with all of the wonderful people on his server, and their refusal to give up. The Fifth ones came from a young hybrid boy, and his innocence towards life.
In all of this, the only constant he ever had was Technoblade. It explained why Dream is so desperate to get some stability in his life, and just like Dream has been doing since his time in The Pit, he will do anything to achieve his goal.

Techno felt the grasp on his own body slipping once more and what felt like moments later, he was sitting against the wall of the alley. Blood caked the floor and seeped into his clothes, staining his skin.
A sniffle came from the little bundle that Techno hadn’t realized he held close to his chest. He looked down to see the tiny, scrunched up face of a child. The child didn’t seem particularly distressed, despite the blotchy burns that marred its skin.

Technoblade was getting tired of this. When he’d first been arrested, he’d hoped his trial would happen quickly and they’d hurry along his execution, so he could get out of this cell and slaughter everyone within a mile radius. But apparently, bureaucracy waited for no man, and now Techno was approaching the end of his second week in this cell.
His daily meal was delivered via the small hatch in the door, so when the cell door clanged open suddenly, he knew something had changed.
Techno looked up lazily. “I hope you’re here for me,” he drawled, as two guards entered the room.
Unfortunately, that didn’t appear to be the case. They were dragging a third figure between them and as they entered, they tossed them to the floor of the cell.
Techno squinted at the new person incredulously. This had to be some kind of mistake.
A kid was hauling himself up to his knees, his arms buckling beneath him.
Techno's chat went wild.

Techno's life had been good. Not great, but good enough. He and his brothers were living on a decently sized acreage, his work was alright with good pay and his brothers were the kind of annoying that made him want to strangle them some days and cuddle them other. That is until the Oblivion virus, a terrible fungal infection, hits his home. His baby brother gets the worst deal out of all of them.
Five years later he is sent on a drop off mission with a too tall teenager that reminds him uncomfortably of his brother. Maybe he can learn to love again through this kid, maybe not.-
aka a Last Of Us au where Techno acts as Joel, Ranboo is Ellie and we can hopefully reach a happy conclusion because I have not been able to get this idea out of my head for months.
