Summary
‘“It’ll be easier, if you stop,” Ragatha admits from her spot beside her on the sofa. They’re all present around where she’s curled up, a small indent against the cushions, watching each ragged breath tear through the round curves of her shoulder puffs. Her eyes are glazed over, dry without reprieve; she fights the urge to close them, because she’s almost certain that if she does she won’t ever wake up again.
She’s pretty sure she’s dying.’
The human body can only survive up to three days without water. As Pomni is forced to acclimate to her new life in the circus, she can feel the tether connecting her to her real body dwindle with every passing day. Lying undiscovered in the remnants of a long abandoned building, her true body withering away to the elements, her consciousness is accompanied by various other trapped souls in Caine’s twisted wonderland. They’ve all been through the same brutal hazing; now they have to be there to sit through Pomni’s.

In any other situation, Ragatha would pounce on the opportunity to make fun of Jax for wearing his shirt backwards.
In any other situation, Jax wouldn't have picked Ragatha up at 3 in the morning with no notice.
In any other situation, Pomni would be sitting as a buffer between the two of them. But an unprecedented and unspoken temporary truce was called between the two, even without Pomni's presence to serve as a reminder of good behavior. Pomni can't exactly serve as a physical buffer when, at some unknown point between the hours of 1:30 am and 2:30 am, she was dangling upside down in her car; the only thing keeping her from breaking her nose being her seatbelt.

Summary
Unable to fully accept her new life in the Circus, Pomni formulates a new plan to find an escape- which involves the unpredictable AI in control of her new world. Her initial plans unravel as she spends more time with him, and tries to convince herself she's not interested in anything but business. Pomni fails, awkwardly and miserably.
AKA: Pomni loses the plot and finds a new interest in Caine, who is eager to reciprocate and fulfill her requests. She juggles her developing feelings with her self-inflicted responsibility, while everyone sort of stands around with popcorn.
This story is pretty silly. I'm a liar btw. I enjoyed writing too much and there's actually some plot now. There’s more and more with every update lmaooo. I also changed the rating to mature because I’m explicit and evil
