    This was intended as a single-chapter story, but I decided to split it in half because that would have been a pretty long chapter. ^^"
    This fic is heavily based on the idea that Maxwell was trapped on the Nightmare Throne for thousands of years and was there when the Ancients fell. I grew feelings for the Ancients and decided to (SPOILERS AHEAD!!!) bring one back.
    Many of the characters get mentioned briefly and you can assume that the entire DST cast lives in the camp, but many of them are out and about collecting resources. This focuses mostly on Maxwell and Wilson, with Winona accompanying them most of the time, because I just really love her big sister character - and she's someone related to Charlie. And of course the Ancient that I'll introduce later.
    There is no focus on any relationships in this one and no one dies.
    Expect a lot of stuff based on my wild headcanons and theories and enjoy! :)
