“Captain!” Legend bellowed, stalking down the alleyway with murderous intent. Everyone looked at him in shock as he approached. He shamelessly strode past Warriors’ assailants, walked right up to the taller hero... and struck him full force across the face, hard enough that the sound echoed like a cannon shot in the enclosed space. Taken completely off-guard by the brutal slap, Warriors stumbled and went crashing in a heap to the ground. His hand came up to gingerly cradle his bruising cheek as he looked up at Legend with dazed, betrayed eyes.
(or: Desperate times call for desperate measures. Where is Wind to give exposition on Great Sea culture and customs when you need him?)

Wind falls ill whilst the Chain is stuck in Lorule in the midst of a food shortage. The worse Wind gets, the more they start to realize that there has been something far worse going on with their Sailor. But he's not the only one keeping secrets, and as tensions rise and ideas clash, Sky does his best just to keep the chain together.

Summary
The embers of the campfire crackle up into an explosion of flames. They dance across the soft breeze of the night, illuminating the faces of those who sit across from him. The thing that looks like Wind laughs, head thrown back from the force as the light glints on the sharp whites of bared teeth, and Time thinks he might be sick.
No one else notices what he does. Wild still passes a steaming bowl into small, rope-torn hands with a wide grin. Sky still raises an arm to wrap the thing into the warmth of his worn sailcloth. Four still leans in to join the muttered conversation lost to the night. They have not seen the change in their youngest’s demeanour, or they do not recognise what it is.
Wind is missing. Something has stolen his face, his body, his voice, and his companions are none the wiser. They welcome this thing with open arms meant for someone else.

But the chain still trusted them. The smithy was a hero just like everyone one of them. Yet the violet in their eyes bore into the soul and the pommel of their blade swirled with a darkness. The way they spoke in that cold manner made a sense of dread curl up in the chain’s stomach.

It wasn’t until hours later that Wild reappeared in the stable, covered in both red and black blood. By now, the others had retreated inside, but Legend had stayed. The fire was warm, warmer than it would be within the stable, and someone had to wait for Wild. Twilight had hesitated to head in, but ultimately Wind's pleas for further warmth in his bed had swayed him.
“Hey Legend, I'm back!” Wild waved cheerfully, too cheerfully for Legends liking.
“Where the fuck have you been?” Legend shouted, rounding on him. Wild instinctively took a step back, putting his hands up in front of him.
“Woah, relax. I was clearing this area out, there’s a nasty lynel down there and I-”
“You ran off on your own to fight a lynel?! Without telling anyone?”
Seriously, did this kid have a death wish?
“Epona knew.” He replied, scratching the back of his neck nervously.
“Epona is a horse.”Wild is moody. A fistfight occurs bc of this.

Legend leads the way despite Hyrule carrying the flashlight. The pair heads down the dark hallway, keeping close to each other. The facility is quiet, too quiet, and it brings a shiver to both employees.
"I don't like this," Hyrule mumbles, clutching his flashlight tighter. He's constantly turning around, checking behind them for any sign of monsters. Still, every time he looks, there's nothing. It's more unsettling than it should be.
"It could be worse," Legend replies, but even he sounds uncertain. The darkness, combined with the distinct lack of noise, leaves their minds reeling. What could be in here?
"It could be better," Hyrule adds, turning around to check behind them. Nothing. Same as the last time, and the time before that.
