Summary
Basically I love Kuvira with my heart so I made this.
This story is set in season 3 of The Legend Of Korra. Basically I’ve tweaked things and here and there, so here’s a little run down of how Korra and Kuvira know each other before she goes to Zaofu in season 3.
Korra started to learn earth-bending at the age of 14. Among her mentors was Suyin, and she would bring her daughter Kuvira(15) along with her to also partake in training with Korra, since they are close in age. So basically they haven’t seen each other since Korra mastered earth-bending until season 2. In this story Kuvira was involved in season 2 where basically Korra and her reunited and she fought along side her the entire season and left back for Zaofu at the end of the season. So back to season 3, they have just arrived to Zaofu and this is where I begin my story, kinda. Idk how to explain it just trust me:) also ages so things don’t get confusing.

Korra just came back from studying abroad last semester. She fell in love with Asami the semester before she left. It's been months since she saw her friends and the love of her life. She never got around to telling Asami how she felt because she always knew Asami was straight.
In the months with Korra being gone, Asami has fallen in love with Iroh II. No one felt like telling Korra about this because they didn't want to ruin her study abroad experience. Asami had kept it from her because she wanted to tell her in person.
Korra is in for a treat this school year. Will jealousy ruin the friendship? Will Asami ever stop being oblivious and figure out Korra is madly in love with her? Or will Korra accidentally slip and tell her when she's drinking her heart out.

This takes place right after the comics and one year after the final battle. Fire Lord Zuko is almost assassinated, which causes Team Avatar to come back to the Fire Nation to help smooth things over and to find out who is behind the attack. Many people are angry with the world leaders and their politics, and especially with the Fire Nation. During all of this Sokka and Zuko become very overprotective of each other taking extreme measures to protect one another. Meanwhile everyone in Team Avatar is forced to question their ideologies as well as find out some secrets which are exposed in Legend of Korra. During the search for the criminals Zuko and Sokka grow super close, overcoming many obstacles in the way. But will their luck continue? Zuko already has the entire world questioning the Fire Nation's leadership style and surely the law he eventually decides to pass will definitely put him, Sokka, Team Avatar, and the rest of the world's leaders in great danger. Can they overcome this too? Or will they be forced back in the shadows to obtain world peace? Both Sokka and Zuko need to decide on how much they are willing to sacrifice for each other and their decision will impact the fate of the entire world.

Summary
Three years have passed since Avatar Korra vanished from the public eye after her battle with Zaheer. People speculated that Korra was dead and that the Avatar cycle had begun anew.
Asami embarked on a journey to find Korra, refusing to believe she was gone. Five years later, the White Lotus announced they had discovered a new Avatar, but the poor child was suddenly forced into the Avatar State and perished.
With the Avatar dead and the cycle seemingly broken.

“I’m under strict orders to not answer that question. However, I wasn’t told I couldn’t tell you she asked the same.”
“We’re literally on the same island,” Korra says, exasperated, even though the argument is old by now and clearly useless. “I don’t understand why we can’t see each other until tomorrow.”
(Or: it's the day before Korra and Asami's wedding and they're not allowed to see each other. They agreed to it. It's only a few hours, they can make it, right?)
