Du sang coule le long du visage d'Hector, là où sa tête a frappé le sol, et son regard flou se rouvre pour suivre ses mouvements lorsqu'Achille remet son épée dans son fourreau, en détachant la sangle de cuir pour l'enrouler autour des poignets du prince. Ce serait dommage de ne pas profiter de son trophée de chasse alors qu'Agamemnon savoure tous les jolis visages que ses Myrmidons saisissent.

Since his youth Achilles has done all that he could to achieve it.The greatest warrior, they say to his face. For an omega, he hears the whispers behind his back. The words do not shake him, for Achilles knows the truth; he is the best warrior ever and whatever things his enemies mutter behind his back they do so only to appease their wounded pride.
Troy comes to him in a moment of solitude, when he is enjoying peace and quiet away from the world with his lover.
"Glory to your name," Odysseus had promised.
Achilles had been in the sort of headspace that made him dismiss the King of Ithaca's words. What is glory compared to a leisure day spent with Patroclus on the beach?
Then Patroclus had asked: “Prince Hector, is he as good a warrior as they say?”
To which the Ithacan alpha had replied: “The best of all the Trojans. Some say he’s better than all the Greeks too.”Now that, Achilles must see for himself.

Hector stops at the last second, sparing Patroclus' life and earning him the respect of Achilles. Achilles wants to thank Hector. Unfortunately, the Trojan Prince is not prepared for the Myrmidon's attentions.
