A story in which Dream is unwillingly thrust into the role of a superhero, something he tried to run away from kicking and screaming. Maybe it was a little his fault considering he gave himself the powers, via magic tattoo nonsense. At least there aren't more than a dozen people who want him dead. Probably.
Featuring: Elsa on her villain arc, Tommyinnit who desperately wants to arrest someone, literally anyone, Ranboo who is evil apparently, a bunch of rich assholes, and BadBoyHalo with a gun.

Staring up at the symbol that had once meant so much to him, Tommy just frowned. He never wanted this role in the plan, the big one that every other aspect relied so heavily on. But, he knew he was the only one with the knowledge and skills to pull it off. He had to be the one to infiltrate the Guardian ranks.
Two years of work had already gone into this plan and this. This was where it truly started. Not when he forged a new identity and backstory to get into the Guardian Academy. Not when he graduated early, one of the top students in his class. Not even when he showcased his abilities and strengths on Scouting Day.

Tommy is a hero turned villain who intends on bringing down the corrupt government that wronged him. But, to do so, he has to go undercover and work as a partner to a new and insufferably stubborn investigator, Wilbur. He tries not to grow attached to his partner and other coworkers on the path to bring the whole Guardian system down, that would inevitably take them down as well.

Dream felt his face darken and hoped the room was dark enough George couldn’t see it. “You like it?” He dropped his voice automatically, the lack of air in his body making it sound huskier, desperate.

Tommy never knew his mother. He never knew the castle he and his brothers were born in. But now, watching the capitol of Manburg burn beneath him, he wonders if knowing would help make sense of anything anyway.
Puffy feels like all she's ever known is loss. Loss of her lover, loss of her sons, loss of control. So when Emperor Phil arrives at her doorstep with three boys in tow seeking asylum, and a demon named Bad comes seeking help for his own stolen son, she thinks maybe she can find a friend who understands.
Wilbur feels overburdened. He has the future of two kingdoms over his head, one brother who is too drowned in guilt to help and another too young to understand. He feels like the weight is crushing him. But even with his broken wings pressed into the dirt, there's no relief.
Ranboo and Tubbo are stuck between two worlds. It feels like every step forward pushes them more towards a cliff. They stare at open air, and wonder if there's any place below that they can call home.
Sapnap is tired. George is angry. Dream is missing. And everyday it feels like they lose more of themselves.
