Ren Shiranami used to be a Spirit of the water, until one day when he was banished for going to the human world without permission to make it worse he can't touch water.
However if he manages to do a series of tasks he can get one wish and he can use it to regain his position as a water Spirit.
However things get complicated when he befriends Haru Sagara, a human who used to be an acrobat until an accident occurred resulting in the loss of his left hand.
Coincidentally the day stated for him to get his wish is Haru's birthday and Ren Shiranami begins to wonder if he deserves the wish when Haru Sagara, a man kinder than him could become an acrobat again if Ren wished it.

Director Nyambura Siku is a no-nonsense bureaucrat who made a name for herself in the Moon administration specializing in cults and spiritual extremists. So, when President Moon assigns her to join Team Avatar on a minimum 6-month-long mission to permanently destabilize and eradicate the Red Lotus, she jumps at the opportunity to use her skills to protect the Avatar and keep the world balanced-- which she believes is her life's purpose.
Except, it's true what they say about killing your heroes. Team Avatar proves to be a lot more... disorganized and lackadaisical than Nyambura expected. And it doesn't help that at every turn, her old 'work nemesis' and former Great Uniter, Kuvira is undermining her work and authority. Kuvira is obviously still holding onto grudges from late meetings arguing in council hearings and all the red tape Nyambura made her deal with as a Secretary, back when she first sought an audience with Zhu-Li to present her ideas for getting the Spirit vines out of the hands of the Red Lotus. And she plans to make it everyone's problem.
But will Nyambura's past compromise her ability to fulfill her destiny? And what happens when Kuvira's intentions aren't as straight forward as she thought?

Sunburst, a lonely 'god', left to rule over a mysterious isle in the middle of nowhere, is reluctant to trust the lost sailor, but is also quite desperate for social interaction. Maybe he can learn to love again.
