She missed her touch. The icy and rough feeling of her skin against hers. The way Haze looked to her for warmth, and the way Wraith wanted to hold her for as long as she’d let her. She wanted to feel Haze’s lips on hers again, greedily seek out her kisses and steal as many as she could before the Fed shoved her off. She wanted to feel the way her body molded into her own, and embrace her like she was always meant to do.
Now, she was alone.

A cold metal hand lands on their back. “I have a room at the Baroness,” Calico says, stepping into their line of sight. Her glasses are cracked from the violence, a nasty purple bruise already forming on her cheek. “I can easily upgrade to a two bed room, if you’d like.”
One battle on the same side will not solve five years of animosity from attempted murder. Pocket may be an urchin, but they do have standards for forgiveness, and Calico has not reached them. They’re quite certain she never will, and that she doesn’t truly want to at all. They were once on the other end of her gun, so why act as if they are fine now?
They would be better off with Mo and Krill. They’re used to sleeping on the ground, in alleyways, more often than not inside the suitcase. They don’t know if they can trust Calico, she could still be planning to kill them, finish what she started—
But... fuck, they haven’t slept in a bed in weeks.
