X didn’t know how long he’d been working. He didn’t know how many bugs he’d fixed, how many lines he’d rewritten. He didn’t even know what day it was. Anything recent had blended together into the giant mush of nothingness that was his life.
He was so tired. His eyes hurt and his movements were sluggish. The lines of code were beginning to blur together into a meaningless pattern of black and white. One thing not many people know about Xisuma is that he has a sibling. Well, had a sibling. He hasn't seen them in hundreds of years, not since they ran away from home when Xisuma was just a kid. Although, 'home' might be a bit off. Xisuma had never felt at home in that place he grew up, and evidently, neither had his sibling. He was happy for them, they had gotten the courage to escape much earlier than Xisuma. It had taken him another five years to even think of leaving.
Xisuma had always assumed that his sibling was living a happy and peaceful life, far away from 'home', like he was. He never should have made assumptions.OR: X is sad, EX is angy, and misunderstandings happen

Summary
There had been a glitch going around the server for a couple of days now only because it was a relatively minor one. Starting at 0,0, all redstone in a set chunk would be powered on for a tick before turning back off, at which point the effect would spread to the chunks immediately next to it. It didn't move extremely quickly and with how far away all the Hermits lived from 0,0, it shouldn't have been a problem. The only reason that the hermits knew about it was because Xisuma got sick for a day or so and Tango had prioritized covering a mountain in snow and ice over the routine server reset.

There was just a single moment in which Xisuma took in Tommy’s terrified expression, then with a strong beat of his new wings, the teenager was soaring away in a panic.
