Minho… that was Minho’s voice, Changbin just hadn’t been able to smell him because Minho had always smelled of campfire to him, and the actual campfire Minho had built inside the cave was masking his scent. “W-What’re you doing here?” Changbin asked when Minho finally released him and moved back over to sit down beside the campfire.
“What do you think? Probably the same as you, I’m hiding,” Minho replied, tossing a stick into the fire to keep it going. “I was enjoying some peace and quiet until you decided to come in and posture on me.”
“How did you know about this place?” Changbin asked, still confused on why Minho was in his cave.
“This has been our pack territory for years, baby alpha. I know every square inch of it, as does everyone else in the pack,” Minho said, in that infuriatingly mocking and amused tone that never failed to rile Changbin’s alpha up further. Changbin felt his cheek flush red at being put in his place by Minho, reminding him once again for how little time Changbin had been an alpha and that he was far from the top dog in the territory.
