Stoick should have known better. While he didn't know much about his son-especially now-he knew the boy was clever. It should have been no surprise when a guard burst into the Council Meeting and revealed that Hiccup had escaped the cell Stoick put him in...hours after the boy was revealed to have saddled a dragon.
Hiccup is gone, and so is the beast.
They search, but do not find him. Berk falls asleep one night and awakens in the Great Hall, where the torches come to life and cast an image of their isle on the wall, from which floats Hiccup's voice, years younger.

Hajime Hinata is the only one aside from Akane and Ibuki running a high fever, but he isn’t showing any so-called despairful symptoms. At least at first. But Mikan, Nagito, and Fuyuhiko don't recall any talent coming with apathy.
An alternative retelling of the three days surrounding the Despair Disease in Chapter 3 in which Hajime contracts the illness—his symptom being the Talent Disease—instead of Nagito. A story of what might have been had he slowly regained talents—plus another identity—and given the hospital squad some grief.

But occasionally, there are things he experiences that he is sure he shouldn't. Because the things he experiences are things that people experience, and he's been told time and time again that he isn't a person, but something created for people. But even so, everything keeps moving and there are answers that Kamukura still needs to find.

‘This entire ordeal is so boring.’
Wait. That’s not the sound of his voice.
Izuru manages to avoid being erased during the program. Hajime now has to hide and deal with the voice in his brain that won't leave him alone.

It is known that the events leading up to The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History, all started at Hope's Peak Academy when Junko Enoshima recruited her Ultimate Despairs.
What is not known, is how the entire experience hinged on one moment, one meeting, one person.
Izuru Kamukura does not stay in his room, waiting for something to happen. Junko Enoshima is not the first person he meets from the outside world. He decides to leave, and instead the first person he ever meets is Chisa Yukizome. A Kamukura introduced to hope before despair changes the story, a Junko never sent to the nurse by his attack does not come across Ryota Mitarai, Hope's Peak with it's deepest darkest secret escaped is a very different place. How will this one small change affect the larger story here?

Hajime Hinata, a boy that longed for talent, for a way to be seen by the world and others would take an offer from Hope's Peak Academy that would transform him into the Ultimate Hope; one corrupted once he met Junko Enoshima, and one that would help drive the world into despair for years on end.
In the Neo World Program, one meant to rehabilitate the Ultimate Despair's under Junko's influence, that Ultimate would disappear in favor of the boy that would become him. However things don't go as expected when Monokuma's next motive arrives, and Izuru once again finds himself in control as he navigates through the game. What will he do? He has no plans at all.
In other words, Izuru comes back under the despair disease and plans to be an observer, only to change the course of the entire killing game.
