Summary
High school senior Jason Morris has been living something of a double life. On one hand, he's one of the best cellists in his school's recent history and a half-decent student. On the other hand, he's spent years deeply intertwined with the street life of West Midnight, a neighborhood that sticks out like a sore thumb in the town of Midnight and a place where fate is not kind to the residents. Jason knows better than to think he'll be the exception to this curse, boys like him are especially unlikely to get out of West Midnight, but he's come to peace with it over the past half a decade.
At least, Jason is at peace with everything until he has his chance to become one of the lucky ones. With an offer from the area's best arts college hanging over his head, Jason must choose which part of his life he's going to hold on to, and which part he's going to let go of. Is he going to get out of this neighborhood and have a chance to become something greater than he ever imagined, or is he going to live and die a West Midnight boy through and through? And what will the choice he makes give him or cost him? -

Summary
After a lifetime of walking, they spot him. It looks like nothing at first, a speck of color in an endless expanse of white, but then it unfolds into a shape, sprawled on the ground, and then Virgil is running at full speed, Remus right at his heels.
Roman is a splash of red on white, and for a long moment Virgil thinks he’s wearing crimson clothes, until he realizes it’s blood. He curses and reaches for Roman, who is laying lax and broken, and doesn’t react when Virgil carefully taps his shoulder, and then his face.
“Fuck, Princey, come on,” he hisses, and carefully drags Roman close, resting his head on his lap and surveying the damage.
And there is a lot of it.
His clothes are soaked in blood, and the smell is so pungent it makes nausea rise up in his throat. There’s slashes in his arms, in his torso, even in his face. It’s like he got into a fight with a tiger and lost.
God, Virgil hopes it’s not that. He doesn’t know what he hopes it is.

Summary
Patton goes to Roman, Logan and Virgil with his concerns about Janus' wellbeing as he has not seen him in days and is unable to sink out into his room. They all go to the dark side to investigate, and they find Janus changed. The change is terrifying, but Patton wants to save him.

TW: This story is dark, and graphic with suicide not only mentioned, but an attempt is made in graphic detail.
