Summary
Xiao and Barbatos love each other, that is a fact. It's been that way for thousands of years, and if all goes well, it'll be that way for thousands to come. But how did it start? Well, with a meeting of course.
Accompanying Lord Morax to meet the other Archons was an honor given to the best of Rex Lapis's Adepti, so of course Xiao accepts when he's chosen. He might regret it once there, just slightly, but he just needs to keep it together until the meeting ends, then he can go home and forget everything about the event. That is what he would have done, had he not been followed by a god with big white wings and a bigger heart.
A warrior with the duty to slaughter and a gentle bard-god don't seem to have a lot in common, but somehow, they both end up being just what the other needs.
Or, how Xiao and Venti found each other, starting from the very beginning.

Healing physical wounds took time, healing mental wounds even more so. That was something that Tighnari, as an experienced Forest Watcher, knew all too well, but that didn't mean he had to like it.
Since he was struck by lightning, the mere sound of thunder had him cowering like a child afraid of the dark. When a massive storm starts raging over Gandharva Ville, he finds himself unable to do anything but hide away in his hut and hope for the weather to change soon. Fortunately for him, whether he's aware of it or not, there are people out there who would dare brave such a storm to help him.

Summary
When the Tsaritsa gets another empty report from La Signora about the Electro Archon refusing to cooperate, she also hears about how her precious eleventh, the youngest of her Harbingers, is apparently being taken advantage of by the former Geo Archon. Whether it's revenge for the Osial incident or something else altogether, she will not let her youngest be hurt or used by another god, especially one as old as Morax. But when she gets there... Well, as the God of Love, she isn't sure if she should be happy or not with what she finds out.
La Signora just wanted to insult her fellow Harbinger for his disgusting crush on the Geo Archon, instead she unknowingly sent a very protective Archon after another god, who happens to also be a dragon. All this over a very oblivious Childe, who is still wondering what exactly prompted his god to take a vacation to Liyue to see him.

Summary
The story of the Jackal is well known, a monster from the desert, he appeared out of nowhere. It's said that he hunts down travelers and administers his twisted Justice to anyone unlucky enough to meet him, making them disappear among the sand.
When Tighnari hears of a new mushroom being seen in an unexplored part of the desert, he absolutely needs to investigate, think of all the uses it could have. Of course, he'll go alone, no need to put his rangers in danger. He might hate the heat, but he still knows the dos or don'ts of the desert, he'll be just fine.
Spoiler alert, he's not fine, but he gets better.

Shadow Milk Cookie has gained much since he'd started dreaming with Pure Vanilla Cookie, and lost more than he'd have ever imagined. Even powerless, he's not one to roll over and accept his defeat so easily. If there are means to make steps towards his goals, he will take them. Even if he's quite possibly signed himself up for failure, given he's promised to ensure the other Beasts will also stay their hands when the war with Dark Enchantress comes to a head. Inasmuch as it's likely an impossible task to undertake, there are worse things he could be attempting in order to assure his continued freedom.
