Summary
Harry never gave much thought to how he would die, not after the war at least, however being mauled by werewolves was certainly not what he’d had in mind. It was painful and sort of embarrassing. He’d assumed that would be it, that he’d pass over and join his loved ones in the afterlife. He’d assumed wrong.
He found himself reborn in a world filled with violence, deception and depravity, where a Mad King burned people alive for the slightest offence, real or imagined.
Harry was a prince, heir to the Iron Throne after his father, which was a curse more than it was a blessing, one he hoped he would not have to bear until he was old and grey.
Harry should have known not to tempt fate...
This is NOT a Harry/Daenerys or Jon/Daenerys story!!! Please stop suggesting that they get together.

Too bad that circumstances aligned to give him no other choice, resulting in him and his godson being tossed back nearly a century into the past leaving him with a significant choice to make: did he keep his head down and try and avoid changing the future?
Or did he take a very deliberate step off of the pre-worn path and see if a few changes - just here or there - could create a better future for everyone, including him.

Severus doesn't like Hogwarts, but it's better than being at home. His life has taken a horrible turn for the worst, perhaps a nose dive is a better term. He should probably just jump off the Astronomy Tower and save himself the agony of it. His mother is dead, he called Lily a mudblood so she never will speak to him again, and he was pantsed in front of the whole school. If that wasn't bad enough he was sent home to another miserable summer in Spinner's End without a friend's house to escape his abusive father. He is certain that 6th year is going to be just as horrible as the last 5 if not worse. But a chance change in room assignment and a strange new student named Harris Smith might be able to turn his life around for the better or at least one that doesn't end with a slam into the hard earth below.
