Summary
The announcement came on a Tuesday, when the leaves turned the color of fire and you were reading and the tea had gone cold.
You married the Fire Lord on a Thursday in autumn. You wore fire lilies in your hair. Neither of you wanted it. Neither of you said so.
What followed was not a love story — not at first. It was two people in the same building, running a nation between them, learning the shape of each other's silences. It was a lamp left on in a corridor at an hour when the palace should have been dark. It was tea refilled without being asked. It was the slow, painstaking work of two people who had forgotten how to want things, remembering.
She carries a fire that burns white and a secret that could undo everything. He carries the weight of a nation and the particular loneliness of someone who has never been seen clearly.
This is the story of what happens when they finally look.Bookmarked by Alina923

Summary
In one world, Fire Lord Ozai crowns himself the Phoenix King. He planned to rise supreme from the ashes of all he burned.
Fire Lord Sozin was known as the Dragon of Caldera for his might and the execution of his own dragon for betrayal.
Fire Lord Azulon was known as the Dragon of the South for his act in eliminating the Southern Waterbenders, as well as the dragon he killed on the eve of his twentieth birthday.
Crown Prince Iroh was known as the Dragon of the West for (allegedly) killing the last dragon remaining in the entire Fire Nation.
There were no dragons remaining for Prince Ozai. That being said, Ozai was far more a dragon than any of his family.
The throne of the Fire Nation was known as the Dragon Throne because of the fierceness with which dragons protected their brood and the Fire Lord protected their citizens.
In this world, Ozai is a dragon. He is fierce, and sharp, and fire. Above all else, he will protect his family.

Summary
Raiko was raised to become a wife. That was what her father always told her. She had no other purpose in life but to bring honour to her family, because she dared to be born a woman. Her parents were old, and they could only have her. Thus, when the Fire Lord’s Council sent a letter to all the noble families of the nation, stating that they ought to present their daughters because the Fire Lord was looking for a wife, Raiko’s father saw his golden chance. She obeyed like a good daughter, but Raiko wasn’t naive or submissive at all. She wouldn’t become someone else’s wife without a fight.
And Lord Zuko had no idea that she would become his favourite pain in the ass...

Summary
Phoenix King Ozai has been defeated! The War is over! Right?
As it turns out, the Earth Kingdom’s shattered political system whose only real leaders are disparate generals and a mysterious secret society isn’t in a very good position to negotiate with the Fire Nation. While Aang’s firebending teacher General Iroh and the White Lotus try to keep order in Ba Sing Se, the Avatar and his companions are flying around the Earth Kingdom to see if they can find allies to finally push the Fire Nation out. But instead of armies and allies, all they find is starvation and madness.
Meanwhile, Prince Zuko is suddenly pulled out of his apartments three months after being put in house arrest on the Day of Black Sun. It appears that ‘Phoenix King’ Ozai has gone missing along with the air fleet in the Earth Kingdom, and Firelord Azula went mad less than a day after her father left. The Fire Sages and the remaining nobility in Caldera quickly coronate Zuko, who now must treat with the Earth King. But it seems like there is nobody to treat with. And the few Earth Kingdom cities he is able to contact seem to think the Fire Nation has lost the war?
