Summary
Usted no desea, Holmes.

Summary
ONDE A RAINHA VICTORIA ENCONTRA MARIE ANTOINETTE.

Summary

Summary
Sherlock smiled — that humourless, purely intellectual smile
"Don't worry. The Diazafen-7 is still in your system. It should begin to dissipate within the next few hours. For now, you'll feel lethargic. Cooperative. It's a fascinating compound, really. Developed specifically for jugulated Subversives. It suppresses adrenaline production, reduces aggression, induces a state of calm and cooperation. In higher doses, it can turn the fiercest of Alphas into a docile little lamb"

Summary
St. Mary Mead, 1905. Jane Marple is nineteen, a midwife's assistant, and uncertain of most things except observation. She reads people as others read novels: for the missing chapters, the omitted sentences, and the truths no one says aloud.

Summary
"Holmes" I called "I am afflicted with a renal calculus"
Sherlock raised his eyes from his experiment. He had three rats aligned in a cage, each with a label affixed to its tail, and a flask of chloroform in his right hand. His left hand held a notebook wherein he had scribbled observations in a script that only he understood. He looked upon me as though I were a fourth rat, yet a rat of particular interest
"A calculus? Are you certain of it?"
"The pain speaks for itself"

Summary
The naked boy shivered on the cracked asphalt, the bones of his ribs drawn under the thin skin like they'd been painted with charcoal
"Mister…" the voice came out thin, cracked. "Are you my daddy?"
The crowbar grew heavy. He lifted his arm. "Billy, no!" But the arm didn't come down. "I'm scared"
And Billy Butcher, who'd planned this moment for years, let the crowbar fall. "Pick up the kid. And someone get me a fuckin' blanket"

Summary
Steve Rogers is tired, the Tower’s coffee machine has been replaced again, and something strange — probably magical and definitely inconvenient — has started happening in New York
Between investigations, inexplicable symbols, sleepless nights, and Steve’s terrible ability to admit when he’s not okay, the Avengers find themselves dragged into a mystery that may be tied to secrets far more personal than any of them expected.
Fortunately (or unfortunately), Steve also has an annoyingly persistent family of heroes who refuse to let him face everything alone

Summary
John leaves. The door clicks shut, his footsteps fade down the stairs, the front door opens and closes. Sherlock stands at the window and watches him cross the street, shoulders hunched, hands in his coat pockets. John doesn't look back. He rounds the corner and disappears
"He always leaves"
Sherlock picks up the violin. Plucks a note — a thin, high sound that cuts through the silence
"Always goes for a walk when he's tired"
Another note. Lower
"Always comes back after an hour. Two at most"
He settles the violin on his shoulder. A slow melody drifts out — not Vivaldi, not anything. Just loose notes floating in the air
"He'll come back. He always comes back"
The note stretches. Vibrates. Dies
"Doesn't he?"
The question hangs in the air. The wind rattles the sign outside. The street is empty

Billy tightened his grip on the crowbar

"Not gonna fight back?"
"I have no powers. Fight back with what? Sarcasm?"
The crowbar went up
And a hand caught it

The doll
To describe her now, so many years later, is a task that demands surgical precision and a poet's heart — two things that life has given me, one by profession, the other by accident. I employ here the second, and may the facts forgive me the excess''

Summary
Sherlock opened his mouth. Closed it. Opened it again:
''I'm being dramatic? You are standing in my sitting room offering to apply ointment to my haemorrhoid!''
''Perianal venous thrombosis'' Mycroft corrected, with an almost imperceptible satisfaction. ''If you're going to suffer, at least use the correct medical term''

Summary
It was twenty past four in the afternoon when I came home, and the silence in the sitting room was the first sign that something was out of order. The second clue was Hastings' necktie, abandoned on the coat rack like a domestic serpent that had lost its spirit. The third was the scent: a sweet perfume of cocoa and hazelnut that did not come from the kitchen
"Hastings?"
"In the sitting room, Poirot"

Summary
"My husband has a magnificent moustache. I declare this at the very outset, because every love story must begin with some part of the body. The moustache, in short, has never failed me. The rest, poor thing, was an apple tree. And I, after ten years of apples, began to dream of pears"

Summary
"The love that goes unspoken does not disappear. It rots, perhaps, but it does not disappear. And I spent my entire life rotting in silence, beside the man who taught me that life is measured by the moments that take your breath away. He took my breath away. Every single day. In every possible way. And that, I suppose, is the only definition of happiness I have ever known"
