Q sees a man walk out of that portal, was it closed behind him, he stopped walking, seeing him for the first time.
The way they kept looking at one another was.. remarkable. Their eyes kept staring at one another, as if the other were foreign.
It didn't stop Tord from trying to go closer, however. And Alexis couldn't be more surprised (and nervous) for what was about to come.
Regardless, Alexis finally gets to know Tord, the man that he befriends despite everything thrown by him.

Summary
Q had no idea who would fall from grace and end up alive but- he already made a mistake. He plans to have the needs to take care of this guy until he awakens. And then he'll promptly kick him out of his nation. Letting the other travel alone.. Maybe... maybe not.
Maybe he'll let him stay. There are supposed to be more people. So he needs his nation to grow. Maybe another member of Las Nevadas would be splendid. He needs more team power. And he seemed powerful. So he'll take the chance he has and use it.
...He's already regretting this.
(Or, instead of Cole waking up in the Land of Lost Things, he wakes up in a whole separate world from Ninjago, which is in the Gambling Capital of the Dream SMP.. Las Nevadas.)

Kaveh used to think that Alhaitham had mastered the art of ignoring him. The man would remain unflappable as he continued to read his worn copy of The Origins of Enkanomiyan Language, even when Kaveh was a hair’s breadth away from shattering the windows of their house with his severity of pitch.
No amount of screaming, threats to throw things, or violently waving in front of him could get Alhaitham to pause in his thirst for knowledge. As it turns out, Alhaitham literally just turns his hearing aids off so he doesn’t have to listen to Kaveh.
It’s for this exact reason that Kaveh has decided to learn Sumerian Sign Language.
