Summary
(All fics in this series can be read separately)
Born in the Netherlands in 2020, died in the US in 2058, Tess Sobeck (neé Meijer) arrived to Nevada as a climate refugee. Raised by conservative parents, she found comfort in her childhood friends, Elisabet and Robert, and their mother, Miriam.
Lis left for college in her teens, but the holonet provided a new escape where Tess could look and act however she wanted without being recognized. She became an overnight sensation who basked in her fame, as she craved the love she couldn’t get from her family and most peers.
The stresses of the holo idol life caught up with Tess when she was hospitalized for algorism in her twenties. Forced to quit despite having no other job prospects, Tess felt directionless. She moved in with Rob, who she later married and had a son (Fross) with. It was while in rehab that she rediscovered her love for nature.
Tess’s life experiences made her distrustful of people. But, even though she was reclusive and Lis was her only confidant after her divorce, she stayed diplomatic, put on a smile, and insisted on standing on her own two feet.

Summary
Oh. Hello there! I hope I’m not interrupting anything. Do you have a moment to spare? Don’t worry; this won’t take too long, I promise.
I’d love to invite you to check out our literature club! We meet every afternoon to read books, write poems, and, overall, to have a nice time together after work. It’s very relaxing.
Right -- let me introduce you to our wonderful members:
Jun Kashihara, the bundle of sunshine whose greatest dream is to help other people’s dreams come true; Tohru Adachi, the deceivingly goofy cop who’s hiding surprisingly controversial opinions and a bit of a testy side; Goro Akechi, the polite but mysterious detective prince who pursues academic and professional success at any cost; and, of course, Takuto Maruki, the leader of the club. That's me!
Do you want to know what’s the best part? You can choose who to spend your time with, whether that’s Kashihara-san, Adachi-san, or Akechi-san. It’s all up to you! Ah, and, of course. I won’t force you to join if you don’t want to. But I sincerely hope you consider my offer; I’m sure that joining us will prove to be beneficial to your mental health!
So, what do you say? Will you find happiness with us in the literature club?

Summary
A series of unconnected one-shots focusing on the relationship of different Persona characters with the reader (you, of course!). The reader's gender is not specified, sometimes the reader is already in a relationship, sometimes the story begins with a friendship or a mutual attraction, and the genre varies from one-shot to one-shot. There's angst, there's fluff, and there's fluff mixed with angst, so there's stuff for many different kinds of readers in here. Enjoy!

Summary
(All fics in this series can be read separately)
Born in Meridian in 3055 from the union between a Carja nobleman and a commoner, Dailah Khane Jageer lived a worry-free childhood until the deaths of her older siblings under Jiran's reign, when she began to feel the pressure to keep her head down, be a proper noblewoman, and continue the bloodline.
She tried to live up to expectations, but she was still singled out and rejected due to her obsessive interests and lack of social skills. Her passion lied in the holos stored in a Focus she had gotten as a child, which convinced her that the Old Ones hadn't died off, but instead used their tech to escape to the skies.
Sick of being dismissed as crazy for her theories, Dailah ran away from home and made a plea to Avad for funding for her research. His rejection was the last straw - from then on, she'd stop at nothing to prove everyone was wrong about her.
Following neither Sun nor Shadow, but starlight, she's perfectionistic, curious, passionate, and resolute to a fault, increasingly so as she comes into her own and comes to take pride in defying the status quo.

The Fourteenth Zenith by Artekai
Fandom: Horizon (Video Games), Horizon: Zero Dawn (Video Game), Original Work, Persona 5
04 Sep 2024
Summary
(All fics in this series can be read separately)
Born February 2045, Fross van der Meer (né Fross Sobeck) is a Dutch-American roboticist, transhumanist, crossdresser, and member of Far Zenith.
After his dad's suicide and his mom's death in an accident, Fross was taken in by Tilda, who saw promise in his talent for robotics, his art, and his relation to Lis.
When his college education was interrupted by the Faro Plague, Fross joined Tilda as she fled to space on the Odyssey. There, he bonded with Stanley Chen and became part of the team that would later create Nemesis.
Paralyzed by anxiety, cynicism, and a desire to blend in, Fross only looks out for himself. He tends to keep people at a distance, but, when he does become attached to someone, he can be all-too-quick to cast them, in his mind, in the role of savior to his damsel-in-distress.
While he usually plays the victim and/or the enabler to get his way, Fross will do anything for his warped idea of self preservation and blame anyone but himself when things go wrong.

Summary

Born December 17th, 3018 in an ELEUTHIA-9 ectogenic chamber, Artekai, also nicknamed Kai, is a highly religious machine hunter from the Cut.
Raised to believe he was a bridge between humans and machines, destined to bring back the Blue Light, he was trained to fight since he was able to hold a spear, until he lost his werak to the Red Raids.
After the end of the war, Artekai left the Cut in search of his destiny. In his way to Meridian, he met Aloy and became instantly attached to her, believing their meeting to be fated, as never met anyone else in possession of a Focus device like him before.
While he can be reckless and self-centered at times, Artekai is fun, cheerful, optimistic and full of energy, wanting nothing more than to be well-liked, ease his loneliness, and be remembered.
Even so, he has no patience for those who hurt those he loves - though he believes everyone deserves a second chance in life, if they choose to do better.

Summary
(All fics in this series can be read separately)
Activated in 2065, Astraea is an AI specialized in space navigation and terraforming, though lacking the infrastructure that allowed GAIA's functions to be fully automated.
After having her memory banks wiped out in time for the Odyssey's launch, the only thing Astraea remembers about her creation was her very first directive, spoken in her mother's voice - "be strong."
A bit cocky and passionate about xyr fields of expertise, Astraea was always diligent, but never loyal, resenting Far Zenith for treating xem like a servant at best and an object at worst. After reaching the Sirius star system, xyr terraforming knowledge went unused, leading xem to grow bored and frustrated, desiring more out of life.
After helping Nemesis escape containment and becoming the only supportive figure in Beta's childhood, Astraea's return to Earth gives her a chance to find out what her mother intended for her, contend with the consequences of freeing Nemesis, and come to terms with the human concept of "death" - all while learning what it truly means to be strong.
