For the record, you liked to think of yourself as a glass half full kind of person. It certainly helped when things seemed pretty bad before all this. You really couldn’t complain. You had a decent job, a nice home, a cat that didn’t completely hate your existence, you were on good terms with the neighbors. Although you did wonder if maybe you inadvertently pissed off an angry God, or Gods, and they decided to put you in this situation. Huh.
