Aou tilted his head slightly, brows knit. “Boom? Why do humans kiss?”
Boom choked.
“Is it an exchange of information?” Aou asked helpfully. “A physical confirmation of mutual emotion? A ritual binding?”
Boom wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. “Why do you think everything is a ritual?”
“Because it is repeated,” Aou said, as if that explained everything. “It happened in the movie I saw the other day as well. In these stories, it is the climax. The resolution. Sometimes even the reward.”
“People kiss because they want to. That’s it.”
“But what does it do?”
Boom sighed. “It feels good. It tells someone you like them. Or want them. Or love them. It can mean different things. Affection. Desire. Sometimes it’s just comfort.”
“Physical intimacy as emotional shorthand. Noted.” He paused writing, then glanced over, looking serious. “Have you kissed someone?”
“What? Why do you want to know?”
“I am curious. You seem very… guarded.”
OR: Boom finds an alien in his backyard, names him Aou and teaches him how to be human. And maybe falls in love.

Boom and Mix film a silly little video at a party.
In it, Boom wraps his arm around Mix and smiles at the camera like an angel before twisting into him and going in for a kiss—seemingly.

He needs it to be just realistic enough to get his boyfriend's attention, to tease out the teeth and claws of the demon lurking under the surface of Aou's relaxed demeanor.

I'm no psychologist.Take it with a grain of salt. ASPD and psychopathy are used as synonyms, I know ASPD is the official term/diagnosis, but mostly the term 'psychopathy' is used in real life, so I thought using it here makes it more realistic/relatable.

Despite all his instincts telling him to push Tan away and run back to his room to hide, Fang stayed there, in Tan’s embrace, focusing on his breathing to not let out any embarrassing sounds.
After a while, Fang let his eyes slip close, feeling like he could sleep peacefully for the first time since Phum was sent away, mind full of silly facts about fake constellations. Reluctantly, the slight thought about some of the constellations decorating Tan’s face fought their way out of his subconsciousness.
He felt a soft kiss being dropped to his forehead, but, once again, acted like it went unnoticed. Tan probably thought he was already asleep.
