Dad and aunt Ness have told him countless times that he’s welcomed to wake them up if he ever needs them. The thing is, he hates doing that. They both suffer from nightmares as well, which means they need their sleep just as much as he does. And their nightmares are infinitely worse than his are. Aunt Ness was literally brainwashed to be a killer, and dad has lost so many people in his lifetime all while dying not once, but twice, and almost a third time. Their trauma, their stress - it makes sense.
His doesn’t. He doesn’t want to bother them with his silly little dreams.

Xelqua typed as fast they could, they were finally in the coldness of the void–yet they still weren’t free from them. They were pulling up a list of servers, trying to find a good one, but if they could see it, so could the others. They could feel the void trying to consume them, tear them apart till there was nothing left. Xelqua hovered one of their fingers over something but it felt odd. They couldn’t see it, but something was definitely there. They pressed on it and gasped, feeling the air get sucked out of them.

“Which path will you choose?” She asked again, just before the doors closed, replacing his view of her with his own, pale reflection.

Confused, Harry confides in his mentor and with his help prepares for the coming changes. Then an attack by Grindilows when in the Black Lake brings Harry to the brink of death and triggers his inheritance early.
But what a surprise that inheritance turns out to be.
