Something was lost in plain sight, Ed was sure of it. Be damned if he could figure out what though.
What was lost was all around him, part of the air but not made up of molecules. It was as though he could sense the invisibility of its essence. It had all the ear markings of something important to him, yet he was still content to shrug it off, unable to identify what it was he didn’t know to look for.
(Or - Ed believes he's living an ordinary life with his mom, dad, Al, and Winry, and starts getting the feeling that something isn't right)

Even being a servant for those stuck up, pretentious assholes, the Ars Goetia. That is, until a contract arrives at his door with a price tag that changes everything. Suddenly being a servant doesn't seem so bad when it puts you close to one of the most expensive targets in Hell. He'd get that damn owl or die trying.Slow burn enemies to lovers romance set five years after the circus fire with cover art. I know it's kind of a common AU idea but it's one I really love so I thought I'd try my hand at it. Hopefully I'm doing it justice!

Summary
When Blitz drops Stolas off after their failed date at Ozzie's, Stolas refuses to get out of the van without him. The last thing Stolas wants is to push Blitz further away, but Stolas would sooner force his hand then let Blitz ride out a panic attack on his own. Once they're in the kitchen, and Blitz is sitting down and drinking water, Stolas tells Blitz something that Blitz finds both very hard to believe and very interesting; this isn't the first time he's deescalated his favorite imp from a panic attack.
After proving he knows Blitz well enough to both identify and deescalate a panic attack, Stolas gets the opportunity to also prove he knows how to make Blitz purr.Bookmarked by BeeInks

So how are you going to treat me?”

Blitzø hates always feeling so shitty, hates the guilt that rots out his stomach every time a relationship falls apart in his clumsy hands. Surely there's gotta be something he can do differently, something that would mean he wouldn't have to wake up every day feeling like the worst piece of shit alive.
After such a savage rejection Stolas can't find anything in himself worth loving. What is it that he's lacking, why does everyone he's paired with end up despising him in the end?
Or: How the fuck did we end up in this cell together?
Set just after the events of Full Moon, but before Apology Tour (because I can only deal with so much angst!). I wanted to explore some alternative resolutions as well as some fresh hurdles for the poor fucks.
