Summary
Hermann shuffled into the room, feeling his cheeks heat from the blaze of the hearth and certainly having nothing to do with being in the presence of this rather winsome spirit, clad only in a robe as he was. He kept his gaze fixedly upon the ground.
“I believe an introduction is in order,” said the spectre in a cheery voice. “I am the Ghost of Christmas Present. But that’s kind of a mouthful, isn’t it? So you can call me… uh...” the man cast his eyes about the room until it landed upon a copy of Issac Newton’s ‘Arithmetica Universalis’ which lay upon a side table. “Um… Newton!”
***
A Victorian Dickensian Newmann Alternate Universe take on the Stave Three of a Christmas Carol, in which Hermann Gottlieb is visited by an unconventional and handsome ghost.

Summary
“You’re serious?” Newt said. I-I mean… you’d be cool with that? With seeing me fully wolfed out…?”
“Well, I believe I saw it already in the hallway last month,” Hermann pointed out.
Newt made a noise between a snort and a chuckle and shook his head. “No, dude. Not even close. You saw, uh, let’s call it a sneak-peek... A teaser! A preview! I was just starting to change and I could still, like, form coherent thoughts. When I go full wolfman, I totally lose my ability to talk or reason. I go, like, completely feral. And what you saw wasn’t my, uh… full size yet.”
“Oh,” Hermann choked slightly on the syllable. “Indeed,” he added awkwardly, feeling an uncomfortable flush begin to creep up the back of his neck. “How, er… well, ah… large do you get?”

Summary
“Bro… she said yes!”
The delighted squeal that followed caused Hermann to jump in surprise as Newt launched himself across the room to throw his arms around Tendo. “Bro, congratulations!!! This is seriously the best thing to happen since we obliterated the Breach!”
“You’re telling me!” Tendo ruffled Newt’s hair affectionately. “Which means I’ve got another important question to pop…” He disentangled himself from Newt’s vice-like embrace and got down on one knee to take his friend’s hand theatrically in his own. “Dr. Newton Geiszler— dude of my dreams, bro of my life… would you do me the honor of being my best man?”
The octave of Newt’s ecstatic yell reached never-before-heard heights. When his pitch finally normalized, he played along, giggling, “Oh, Tendo, my man, my bro, my dude, my bestie. Of course I will.”
Tendo was just getting up again as Hermann moved into range to give his hand a firm shake. “Congratulations, Mr. Choi. I wish you and Alison the very best.”
“Brother, how many times do I have to tell you to call me Tendo? We’ve been friends for years. And on that note— I want both you two basement dwellers close by on the big day. Hermann, I’d be honored if you’d be my groomsman too…”

Summary
A lone man steps up to the table with high, sharp cheekbones which contour his face appealingly. He’s tall and thin, incredibly pale in contrast to his dark hair. He’s wearing a dress shirt and dress pants (a bit formal for a rock show, but hey! Newt’s not gonna judge anyone’s personal style). The stern, austerely set mouth at once raises up into a wide smile. The stranger’s eyes meet his, deep brown framed by thick, dark lashes, and an inexplicable jolt thrums through Newt’s body.
Newt Geiszler may or may not be totally ruined.
“Hey, man!” he says, quickly recovering and throwing on what he hopes is something close to a cute grin. “Thanks for coming to the show.”
The stranger takes a step forward and opens his mouth and Newt is not ready for the smoothest, most posh British accent he’s ever heard. “It was a marvelous performance.”
Oh, Newt Geiszler is beyond ruined. Newt Geiszler is utterly and totally fucked.

Summary
“Dude, it’s just trash talk,” Newt says before Hermann can back out of their hangout. “It’s kinda part of the fun. Like, it’d be weird if we were just sitting here in silence, right? It’s fine, man, I can take as good as I give.” He realizes how suggestive the comment sounds as soon as it’s out of his mouth.
“Ah, well, you should have said that from the start,” Hermann states dryly. “So, in other words, I can berate you as much as I want within the context of ‘trash talk’?”
“Yeah, man, go wild.”
