This author is absolutely phenomenal. I’ve been binging all their works for the past few days and I’m so in love. I’d bookmark all their works and spend hours detailing how good they are, but I figure it’s just easier to bookmark my favorite.
This work is . . . hooh boy. An absolute rollercoaster of emotions. The angst is so natural and heart-wrenching. The struggles of loving a soldier like Simon felt so real. And the small, fluffy domestic moments. Ugh, my heart. I especially like how Sarah and Simon are constantly changing to fit each other better, even if it is a bumpy road. (It shows in the sequel how much they’ve grown).
It felt like love. True, painful, real love. That’s the best way I can describe. Definitely recommend, a thousand times over.

Summary
Tommy's called Blindspot for a reason. He’s not invisible, as he’s reminded Dream time and time again - people can definitely see him. They just don’t notice. He blends into plain sight, totally diverting all attention like water off of a duck.
Usually, anyway. Orpheus, however, stiffens a little as Tommy draws nearer. He starts glancing around, as if struck by sudden paranoia. Tommy draws up in front of him, staff clenched in one hand, and Orpheus starts turning as if to check behind him.
“What’s that,” Orpheus mutters. “Who’s there-“
Tommy pulls his staff back and slams it into Orpheus’s stomach, hard.
Orpheus stumbles. He wheezes, choking, and then looks up at Tommy and fixes him with a burning stare.
“Who the fuck are you,” Orpheus says, eyes wild and oddly delighted. “Where were you hiding?”

Suspected of betraying the Hero Guild, Apprentice hero Tommy (A.K.A. Blindspot) is put under Security Protocol Catbag: a locked-on noise cancelling mask equipped with truth gas. His mentor, Dream, calls it a necessary teaching tool.
Meanwhile, SBI wants to know why their least favorite loudmouth little Hero has suddenly stopped talking.

Ooooh I can’t even describe how good this is shaping up to be. This fic has me on a collar and leash. Suppose I should actually describe it uhhh—
Villain SBI, except they definitely don’t half-ass the villainy like a lot of other stories I’ve read it’s very refreshing. All the characters interact in very natural and fluid ways like—that scene where Wilbur and Quackity got drunk was so fucking funny but it felt so believable too. Also Tommy’s powers are so damn cool I can’t even. The Guild being evil isn’t subtle per say but it’s not being shoved in our faces constantly, more like it’s just corrupt. Again, very realistic.
If I don’t cut myself off here I’ll just ramble forever. It all just feels like a puzzle slotting so satisfyingly together. Quickly becoming one of my favorites.

It's sink or swim, and her boisterous, self-confident and straight forward to a fault partner isn't making things any easier.

Human enough to fully understand human speech, but animal enough to fight anyone that tries to tame him with pointed canines and a ripping snarl.
He has a bite history that would warn off any sensible adopter but when you see that he's approaching the deadline for euthanasia, you have no choice. One sharp look from garnet eyes and you know you have to bring him home. You have to give him a chance, even if you're risking life and limb to do it.
