“Is that a robot!?” Techno hollered from over Phil’s shoulder, Wilbur’s face appearing beside his brother
“I thought I told you to stay put. What if this was dangerous?”
“He isn’t dangerous! He is a kid!” Wilbur rolled his eyes
Techno was now directly in front of the robot, poking at the antenna that twitched in response. He jumped back and raced to hide behind his father. The three watched as the eyelids of the animatronic opened to reveal scarily human blue eyes. The only indicator that they weren’t real human eyes were that they clearly were backlit, providing light to the dark alley. Next came a smile and a wave of the bot’s arm, which moved fluidly with ball joints and a flexible skeletal structure.
“Hello! I’m TOM-Bot!” A cheery voice was produced, a slight metallic static giving an echo to the words
“Hi TOM-Bot! I’m Wilbur.” Wilbur stepped forward and extended his arm. No matter the situation Wilbur was always the extrovert, even when his life may be in mortal danger.
Or Phil, Techno and Wilbur find a child sized robot (Tommy) and decide to adopt him. The only problem is that TOM-Bot is a product of Dreamcorp and cannot expose his purpose of creation. It can't be that bad right?

Summary
DSMP Tommy and Wilbur somehow end up on Quesadilla Island and are met with the painfully domestic version of Wilbur that lives there. Tommy is confronted with the reality of the life he could of had and must now grapple with seeing a version of Wilbur he cannot recognize. Will they be able to get back home unchanged?

Alex Quackity: Look, Thomas Innit, or Tommy as he prefers to be called, killed Dream. This is not the question we are dealing with in this trial. We know where it happened, we know when it happened, we know he was the one who shot Dream point blank in the head. Those are all facts of this case. The question we are raising here is why it happened. The prosecution has suggested to you that it was done out of anger and hatred for the man who had been taking care of Tommy since he was 16. Summary
Tommy was many things: feared, free, powerful… but he wasn’t proud.
He wasn’t proud of the title he had or the name they’d called him, honestly he didn’t think he deserved it. Tommy never had an evil plan, or a secret lair, or any of the cool things villains had. All he had was a shitty apartment and the clothes on his back, and a desire for more.
He couldn’t be a civilian, and he certainly wouldn’t be a hero, so he did what he had to do.
At fifteen years old, Red Death killed the top heroes in L’Manburg, and Tommy became a villain.
Or: Two years ago, the top heroes of L'Manberg were killed by Red Death. Now, ex-villain Tommy tries to juggle the fallout while also forging new relationships, some of which may be more complicated than they seem.
