As quietly as he could, Harry pushed the door open and stepped inside. The sight that met him was… Was nothing that Harry could have ever been prepared for. He’d expected Malfoy to be doing something like brewing an illegal potion (if those even existed) or sending secret coded messages to his evil family.
What he did not expect- the furthest thing from any of his wild imaginings- was to find Malfoy curled into himself, with his knees against his chest, resting his head against the cool tiled wall, with blood dripping from both forearms. Harry never expected to find the Malfoy heir crying - no, sobbing- alone, in the bathroom, in the dead of night.
