“Remy LeBeau…” she mused quietly. “The horse whisperer.”
Her lips were tugged into a smile. Gorgeous. Contagious. All the girls back at the ranch were pretty, but there was something about this Rogue femme. He could feel it, deep in his bones. Tantalizing curves and sun-kissed skin had his mind spinning with forbidden thoughts; there was nothing he wouldn’t do to feel her warmth under his thieving hands.
The woman was simply stunning.
And she was making fun of him.
Again.
“Jus’ doing my job, chére.” He shook his head, pulling the reins to steer the horse from leaving the trail. “S’ body language. Dat’s all.”
Tightening the reins, Rogue took the lead. The ground was rocky, but her stride was steady and confident.
“Ah don’t know, Rems” she said, throwing him a look. “All Ah hear is… Horse whisperer.”

Rogue is engaged to a man twenty-two years her senior. To her friends’ despair, she doesn’t seem to have a problem with that. That is, until she meets a certain cajun at her riding lessons. What's that swamp rat doing so far up north? What’s with the sunglasses? And, more importantly, what's his deal against personal space?

Summary
The buildings outside were just as gold as the room she was in. All around, as far as she could see, were spires upon spires of golden towers. Far below her window she could just make out small white figures moving around gold streets. She looked up, expecting to see a dark night sky, and gasped in shock at the gargantuan celestial body looming above the city.
It looked like a planet, if planets were the size of moons, and so close she could make out the clouds in its atmosphere. She squinted her eyes, looking closer at the planet. Was that? She thought she saw herself in one of those clouds. There! What was that?
Jean crawled out of the window, using her powers to float closer to the other planet. Was that Scott? And what on earth was he wearing? She reached out with her telepathy, finding no mind where she expected it.

Called home to help out Rouge returns to the X mansion with painful memories in to and still seen as the young girl that had once sought this place out for help. Rouge show's all that doubted her that she's grown up more than they realize. Now if only the Cajun would leave her be.
The rebuilt mansion smelled faintly of fresh paint and old memories. Rogue tugged at her gloves, the leather squeaking, and kept her chin high as she walked down the main hallway. Every glance thrown her way carried the same old weight — distrust, fear, pity.She was used to it by now.
“Rogue.” Ororo’s voice broke the silence, calm as ever. The older woman gave her a smile that felt like home, pulling her into an embrace no one else dared attempt. “Welcome back.”
Before Rogue could answer, a smooth Cajun accent curled through the air.
“Now dat is a sight I wasn’t expectin’,” the stranger drawled.

Her primary goal is to save as much money as possible before turning eighteen, when she can finally leave, and hopefully with a one way ticket to Genosha. Her secondary goal is to maintain a high GPA, so that she doesn't lose her scholarship; on top of managing her two jobs.
So yeah, life is a lot, hence the lists and lists. Lunette just wants to keep her head down, and avoid attention. Which is getting really hard to do with the X-Men, Brotherhood , and her bio Dad refusing to take no for an answer.
