Summary
Pomni and Caine leave the circus after being partly abstraced and a mouth bound shut. Finding herself back at home after being in the hospital for a full month pomni find that have a younger sister isn't what she thought it was. But when she's not dealing with the sister pomni dreams take her back to the circus which is still running. Caine's body is soon found clamped shut and withered away bound to die. She can't do much as a poltergeist but tries to find a way to save Caine and free the others all while taking down Abel who runs the lights and puppets

After their fight Jax feels guilty but dons a mask as pomni gets deathly ill. He finds out that pomni is not abstracting but is in a coma like state with something so similar to abstraction. After she wakes up Caine tells him the only way for her to regain her memories is to go under ground where with the help of kinger, zooble and gangle he finds himself in a place where the ink runs high, morale is low and no where to go they take the train to different stations. Will they find the cure for her memories or will they too succumb to the sanitized?
