Percy lets Annabeth convince him to join the CIA so he can have something to do while she is starting her Architect career when they finish at New Rome. It's not a bad idea, even better when he discovers they have a division that is nearly all demigods or legacies. It also helps that his step-dad's nephew is a member of the elite BAU in the FBI and wrote him several recommendation letters.
Spencer enjoyed having family that was around his age. Even if they saw each other infrequently. Not exactly easy to meet up around serial killers and demigod duties. Still, he makes time to see Percy before he's off on his first undercover assignment for the CIA.
Neither of them expected it to end so insanely.

After years of pain and heartbreak, he was finally in a place in his life that felt stable. His son was happy, his team wasn't falling apart. George Foyet was dead, and miraculously Aaron still had his job. But Aaron knew things never stayed this was for long, however he never would have been able to guess the bombshell that was about to explode in his life.

“Yeah, ‘were’, past, we’re dead in their records, they won’t catch us,” Dean answered and smirked. “Besides, even if they do, we always manage to get away, even from the FBI. Hell, we even have Cas now to mojo us outta there this time.”
“If you manage to contact him, you mean.” Mumbled Sam and Dean rolled his eyes.
“He’ll answer when he can, we don’t know what’s happening up there.” He said, even though he was also annoyed by his friend’s lack of communication. “Are we going or not?”
“Fine.” Sam sighed. “But let’s just be more careful this time, please.”
“Yeah, yeah, quit bitching we’ll be fine.”

Luke Castellan was in the zone. There would be no second chances—hell, maybe this was his second chance after the Garden of the Hesperides. Either way, there would be no coming back from this.
Suddenly, the Olympian Throne Room began to shake. Or maybe, he thought, watching the gods begin to panic and take up their items of power once more, it was the whole of Olympus. There was a bright flash of light at the center of the room and Luke found himself suddenly grouped together with his siblings behind their father who stood at nearly twice their height, staff out.
At the center of the room, surrounding Lady Hestia’s hearth, were what appeared to be twelve demigods standing in a circle with their hands linked.
“We come with the Blessing of the Fates,” An older Annabeth announced. “We have fought Titans, Giants, and Primordials and survived. And now we are here to ensure the survival of Olympus.”
Oh shit, Luke thought. This was not a good sign.
