The adults in his life are willing to turn a blind eye to his ever-increasing issues, so long as they’re able to maintain their idea of a savior and keep their plans in place.When Harry Potter arrived at Hogwarts, Severus Snape's life became exponentially harder as he tried to field threats against a boy he didn’t even like and take up spy work again at the same time. With the return of the Dark Lord, Severus also suddenly had to work to protect his godson from the threat looming over them; if Draco fell into the Dark Lord’s hands like his father, he would never escape.
Severus is content to allow the obvious problems rising in Potter to be addressed by the boy’s other teachers, and the people who cared for him. However, as more issues arose and intensified, one thing became obvious: Severus may be the only person with both the power to help Potter, and the will to do so. -

"Stupid human," Adrian hisses. "You would give up your chance for him just like that?"
"Yes," Grace says hoarsely.
"Anything for him."

Summary
Grace and Rocky take a detour to a mysterious distress call from a blood moon, recusing Simon. Simon and Grace do not speak the same langue and struggle with miscommunications. Together the three of them work together against the cold uncaring void of space. So that way everybody gets to live, even if fighting for that life isn't easy. Simon finds out he doesn't know what to do with the kindness he has found.

Then I went back towards my xenonite. Nah, full grown adult over there— despite being around 30 Earth years old, and if that were converted to Eridian math— that was very young. Pebbles could barely speak yet at that age. But this was an alien— a human we're talking about. Grown ass man.
Or so Rocky thought.
(5 times Rocky witnesses Grace acting like a pebble, and the 1 time Rocky acts like one himself. Featuring, a reunion between Rocky and Adrien!
