Summary
AU in which Alternia and Earth know of each other and have some form of truce. Trolls are either raised by lusii or adopted by adults of their blood caste (for example, Signless adopted Kankri as a grub because no lusus would take him, but Karkat was raised by Crabdad until for a while before Signless ended up with him.)
There is NO lifespan disparity in this AU. Trolls have a lifespan comparable to humans, except in cases such as the Condescension, who extended her own lifespan with dubiously consensual organ transplants. Abilities such as psionics and excessive strength are not castd-specific, but occur as random mutations in any blood color. The hemocaste system does not exist, and has not for around two thousand sweeps.
