Summary
After Shane comes out, the Metros become convinced he might be attracted to them.
Shane corrects this assumption with devastating precision, accidentally describes Ilya Rozanov in the process, and somehow turns the entire locker room into a deranged pageant of heterosexual insecurity.

Summary
Shane Hollander has built himself around routine, his life blood is hockey. Struggling to understand his team off the ice and the people around him, he carves out a few silent hours to himself. It's just him and his skates. But the hard fought peace is fragile, like cracks in too thin ice. It only takes a slight impact to shatter. Shane is fighting to hold his team and himself together as everything comes crashing down around him.
Someone hacks into Rose Landry's phone in a club, they then release the images of Shane's texts online and all hell breaks loose. Shane is left to pick up the pieces. Ilya makes some choices in the aftermath that change everything. Shane decides to stop hiding and Ilya is a possessive asshole who makes it everyone else's problem. With far less reason to hide himself anymore, Shane begins to show more of who he really is behind the polite, media worthy façade. They instead find a team who are ready to fight the world for each other and a found family that has far reaching threads.
Maybe Shane can have both Hockey and Ilya. The world will just have to deal with it.

Summary
Shane Hollander had a plan. It was a good plan, just as every other plan he’d ever made was a good plan. Then he watched a video of a burning plane carrying the love of his life and it became the only plan he’d ever changed.
or...
Shane goes to Tampa. The next morning, Troy Barrett receives a text from Ilya:
“Bringing boyfriend to breakfast. Tell team to be not weird.”
The Centaurs are, unsurprisingly, weird about it but become the best support system they could ask for as Shane and Ilya navigate the choice to fully begin their lives together and love each other out loud.

Wyatt’s gaze shot up and it was like one of those moments in a fucking movie or something.
Because the person bursting through the door like an absolute tornado at two in the morning was Shane Hollander. The man looked sweaty. And breathless. And panicked. No, haunted. His eyes were wide and tortured, chest heaving like he’d run here from Canada.
What was he doing here in Tampa and not in Canada?
Oh. OH. Oh shit.

A Wyatt Hayes POV of Shane’s first year with the Ottawa Centaurs feat. the Centaurs realizing the rivalry is still real, Shane’s no PDA rule, workplace ‘professionalism’, an unreasonable amount of Tim Horton’s discussion, and Montreal getting their ass kicked as they deserve.

Summary
After coming out to Rose, Shane decides he doesn't want to lie anymore, even if he isn't sure coming out will mean he gets happily ever after with Ilya. When coming out to the Voyageurs leaves him wondering what his future in Montreal might look like, he lets himself be a little selfish, he lets himself wonder if there might be somewhere else he might be happy. If Montreal wants to get rid of a generational player, he's not about to stop them, especially if it means he can get a little closer to joy.

Summary
Shane Hollander never got that concussion, and Ilya Rozanov breaks up with him. Shortly after, Shane suffers a career ending injury. They don’t speak again.
Of course, stories don’t end like that. At least not theirs. When Shane adopts a little girl with familiar curls and deep blue eyes, Shane writes letters to Ilya, imagining he was with him, raising the girl together.
Movers get things mixed up. Letters get sent. And after 4 years of no contact, Ilya moves to Ottawa to see Shane again. The only question is—will Shane let him in? Or is he still just as scared as he was in 2017?

Summary
It’s 2023, and Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov (almost) have it all: they’re married, they’re playing for the Ottawa Centaurs, they’ve already won a Stanley Cup together.
But there's one other thing they've always wanted.
And no, it's not for Shane to get pregnant, okay? Ilya was only joking about that.
They just want a baby using real-world, reproductive medicine. Yes, Shane and Ilya have learned what IVF is.
And it goes like this.
Or:
Shane and Ilya’s three-year IVF journey to parenthood, feat. egg donor Svetlana, gestational carrier [name redacted but you can guess], Ilya's baby name list, Shane's first drag brunch, lovable dummy Hayden Pike, Anya's first ferry boat ride, a chapter of Yuna POV, pansexual Rose Landry, a 5+1 of pregnancy announcements (chapter 11, I die for you), and eventual #girldad life.
Or:
The "I want to have kids with you" fic I wanted to see in the world.
