Celine didn't kill Rumi. Rumi had begged for it and she didn't do it. She dropped the sword to the ground and refused. But she still took the sword...Rumi still felt the cold tip of the blade pressing against her neck, just one thrust away from ending it all for the half demon. Rumi still felt the blood prickling from her neck, staining her white turtle neck and golden zipper. Celine stopped before she could do more than that but she still considered doing worse...somehow that made Rumi feel worse about the whole thing. It doesn't help that she now has to explain to her girlfriends why there is dried blood on her neck, collar and zipper when they could swear they wasn't hit (other than by Gwi-ma's flames) in the final battle, who then initially assume Jinu had accidentally hurt her when sacrificing himself for her.

The Honmoon hums in the background, thoroughly amused at the latent energy pouring out of Rumi. As if it knows something she doesn’t. Her patterns shimmer and pulses, drawing Rumi out of her wishful pondering to inspect her marks.
“What—“
A plume of red mist engulfs Rumi before she can finish her sentence. Space warps with a quiet squelch of magic and power, and Rumi barely has time to scream as she is transported from the dressing room to the living room of Celine’s hanok.
There’s a loud startled yelp as Rumi lands on the bare floor, limbs askew and tangled with two other warm bodies. Mira and Zoey’s gazes meet Rumi’s, and for a couple of long seconds, they’re all staring at each other with blatant bewilderment.“What the—“
“Rumi?!”
“Mira??!”
“Zoey!!” They all pause as Zoey shrugs, “What? I wanted to be included.”

Rumi’s heart stuttered in her chest. The lie crawled up her throat, that Mira was being paranoid, that there was nothing to worry about, but it felt so thick that she choked on it. She bit her lip and crossed her arms around her waist. “I am.” She admitted, barely a whisper.
Mira cocked her head. “You’re… scared.” She said hollowly. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you scared.”
