Shadow was unaware of the agreement that all the fighting happening around the village was just to keep everyone occupied. And is understandably confused when Sonic explains why. He makes it clear he wants nothing to do with whatever the hell they’re doing, but Sonic tries to convince him to “get in” on the fun anyways. Shadow makes a counter offer, if it means that he’ll be left alone about the subject of arrangements and the doctor. The offer is for the two of them to meet up every week to race or spar, and of course Sonic agrees. Because that means he gets to see his favorite rival more. Maybe they spar more than race, maybe it’s because they like pinning each other to the ground. They’ll never tell, cause they won’t admit it to themselves !! At least not yet !!!
