However, when Vlad unwittingly gives a now-disillusioned Valerie a new mission, she's determined to go behind his back and mess up his evil plans. Against her better judgement, she decides to team up with Danny Phantom, who's more eager to mess with Vlad's evil plans than even she is.
Their new mission leads them deep into the Ghost Zone. Aside from a lingering distrust between the two of them, things are going relatively well until Danny starts feeling tired, then queasy, and finally absolutely sick. With her ghost guide out of commission, Valerie will need to go far out of her ghost-fighting comfort zone to do what it takes to get them both back to Amity Park safely.
Hey, remember how Valerie is canonically a black belt? Well, this fic explores what that actually might mean for her character. i.e. The one where Valerie finally gets to fistfight some ghosts!
