Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.

After breaking free of the loops, Siffrin is more than ready to move on and enjoy life again. They’re with their family—their friends—for another journey, one without the King’s Curse nipping at their heels, and everyone will be together for the foreseeable future. So Siffrin is fine. Great, even! The others don’t need to know that their experience in Dormont still hangs heavy as a noose around their neck.
They just need to get over it.

Other than that Cat had declined him any knowledge, but he could guess from the looks between her and her girlfriend that there was something there. An underlying tension between Jeremy and his family that was hurting him. Jean could to some extent understand this. But not in its entirety.

The Raven’s Nest came back to Neil Josten from time to time in bits and pieces. He had heard it from Andrew before that as you cope with something you unlock memories that your brain had hidden away because you could not cope with it. It was apparently something that you did in therapy, to try to unlock these memories. And all it did was make Neil hate the idea more, locked things should stay locked.
There was a reason they were behind barriers.
So when Neil Josten woke up one night in the middle of the night drowning, well lets just say he wanted to lock that box right back up as quickly as it had been opened. He didn’t understand the way that yesterday the hot steam of a shower after a run had soothed every part of his aching body, and today made him want to start running all over again.

“So what does it mean?” Phil asks softly, and whatever turmoil Techno had faced before is gone now, relaxing as he smiles and says “Wilbur has a sibling.”
