Really good story in which metal sonic has 3 directives. It realizes following Robotnick is dumb but then has to deal with it's command to be superior to, and beat, sonic. In it's glitch state it cannot do so but avoiding sonic makes it worse. Decides on name Neo and tries to break away from sonic identity. Directive persists in hypervigilence and OCD, finally goes to amy/tails and removes all directives even tho this choice is so against its code thst it breaks it. (It got better) Ch19 complete.

Instead we get Sonic literally tripping over Shadow's pod and releasing him by pure accident. What's a top secret government bio-engineered hedgehog to do when surrounded by a bunch of people who know nothing about who he is supposed to do?
