Summary
Hyrule is rotting. Moblin gangs roam the streets. Poverty abounds. Tensions between its races are on the rise. In all this, the Hyrulean Senate sits and twiddles their thumbs, caught up in petty power plays. Only one man, Senator Ganondorf Dragmire, has plans to solve things--by establishing a police state, with himself at its head.
Only two people can stand in the way of Ganondorf seizing power. The first, a senator from the former royal family, out to prove she has the wisdom to lead her people and is more than just her family name. The other, an amnesiac street urchin, barely scraping by to find the courage to move on from the loss in his past. Will these two be able to prevent Ganondorf's oppressive, stagnant vision of peace by bringing light and song back to the people of Hyrule?

Summary

When he turns out to be the Chosen One who can use the Master Sword of Legends to defeat the latest wave of monstrosities sweeping through Hyrule, he finds himself thrown into horror after horror until losing himself feels more like a remedy than a loss.

The tear tracks left on her cheeks seem to shine in the moonlight, giving her angular features an unearthly glow. It is grotesque, yet mesmerizing. It is the most beautiful thing he's ever seen.
