Summary
It starts with just one change.
Kara Zor-El doesn't land where her doomed parents intended, and she's not found by the people she should've been found by. She doesn't grow up in the shadow of the Last Son of Krypton, inspired by the Princess of Themyscira, or wary of crossing paths with the Dark Knight of Gotham. Instead, she learns about Captain America and Doctor Bruce Banner in school, and gets to listen to Alex complain about getting assigned to Tony Stark's protection detail.
This is the universe that follows.

Trickling of the warm water echoed from the walls, steam whirling, gently caressing his fleshy skin. One that he will need to accept that he won't feel from himself ever again. He can turn away now, stay human and keep his humanity. With its unpredictability and vagueness from Merlin on what would exactly happen only made his heart rapidly race more.
"Submerge yourself in said water and.." He tipped the jar above the tub, sealing his fate with the slow pour. With it's immediate contact it spread through the water like a disease, an infection.
"..presto. You will be born anew."

Their Trollhunter, Jim Lake Jr, is experiencing nasty side effects regarding his half-troll transformation that Merlin purposefully chose not to tell him about. Everyone's tense, and that's before Jim leaves with Merlin -- and only the wizard returns to the camp.

The Eternal Night is over, but Jim's problems are not. The trolls need to travel across the country to the Heartstone in New Jersey. But Jim is still struggling with his new form-he's fine with fighting as a troll, but living as one? That's an entirely different story. It'll take a journey with golems and mysterious foes for him to realize that maybe-just maybe-it's not so bad.
